Info:	This painting was inspired by a visit to a delightful place in Buckinghamshire called Wallingford very near the river Thames. My family and I had just left the local inn. And were on our way to the car park, when my Son in Law Spotted this Majestic Sycamore standing proudly on its own in a field some way off with the mist and sunlight just beginning to change leaving us with the impression of a misty sunrise though it was about 2.30 in the afternoon.

Info:	This painting is really an exercise. Only two colours were used, burnt sienna and burnt umber. The affects are created by using light washes of each colour and glazing over them and strengthening the colour until the correct tone was reached. Overall, giving the warmth and glow of what was a brilliant sunrise in early July.

Info:	I just had to paint this. It was a windy day with clouds dashing across the sky as if they wanted to be in warmer parts. These two massive solid stone structures standing tall, must have been an imposing and awesome site in early times.

Info:	It was early morning the day was just beginning and promised to be hot just like it had been for the last few days. As you looked along the ridge the mist had started to rise. The shadows were a dark violet-brown an indication of the heat to come later that day. Perching on the best available spot I quickly laid paint to paper and the results were, I feel, good.

Info:	A great British Vista with the grey one shown in all its majesty. With just a hint of snow to remind one that it is cold up there, even on a warm day like today. The sky was hard to capture, the clouds were like a ridge of definite colour fading off to pure white on the horizon a truly exhilarating experience with the sounds of nature singing in my ears and the wind threatening to blow away my painting materials.
